1. Health & Safety Acknowledgment

COVID-19 Risks:

Participants acknowledge the risks associated with the COVID-19 virus, including the possibility of exposure during the retreat despite precautions. Participants agree not to attend the retreat if they exhibit any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (e.g., fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.) or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the retreat.

Health Guidelines Compliance:

Participants agree to adhere to any health protocols set by the retreat organizers to prevent the spread of contagious viruses, including COVID-19.

2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Voluntary Participation:

Participants understand that all activities during the retreat are voluntary and involve physical activity, which carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury.

Waiver of Liability:

Participants agree to release and hold harmless Synergy Yoga, Francisco Morales Bermudez, and Salim Rollins from any liability related to personal injury, property damage, or loss before, during, or after the retreat.

Personal Responsibility:

Participants agree to take full responsibility for their actions and any damage caused by them during the retreat.

3. Yoga Practice Participation

Physical Activity:

Participants understand that yoga involves physical activity, which may cause discomfort or injury. If participants experience any pain or discomfort, they agree to discontinue the activity and seek support from the instructor.

Medical Clearance:

Participants affirm that they have consulted with a licensed physician and have been cleared to participate in the physical activities required by the yoga program. Participants agree to inform the instructor of any medical conditions or physical limitations before participating in the yoga classes.

Pregnancy & Post-Operative Conditions:

If a participant is pregnant, becomes pregnant, or is post-natal or post-surgical, they affirm that they have their physician’s approval to participate in the retreat.

4. Emergency Medical Treatment

Authorization:

In case of an emergency where the participant’s emergency contact cannot be reached, the participant authorizes the retreat staff to obtain necessary medical treatment for their welfare.

Financial Responsibility:

Participants agree to be financially responsible for any medical charges and fees incurred during emergency treatment, regardless of insurance coverage.

5. Electronic Signature & Agreement

Binding Agreement:

By electronically signing these terms and conditions, participants agree to all the terms outlined above and acknowledge that their electronic signature is legally binding.

Informed Consent:

Participants affirm that they have read and fully understand the contents of this release and that they are of lawful age and competent to sign this affirmation.
